Health Care, Reproductive Justice, & Cost Equity
I believe access health is a right and not a privilege. I am committed to providing access to high quality personalized health care regardless of a client's abilty to pay. I accept Medicaid in Colorado, I am seeking contracts with a wide variety of insurance carriers, and I offer discounted services (see Green Bottle Method below) for out-of-pocket payers. I am also dedicated to providing free services through volunteer clinical opportunities (e.g. Lahai Health in WA State) and establishing 'pay what you can'/'free' community offerings. I will continue to add more information about JMBC's work to promote health equity and reproductive justice here...
Insurance
JMBC accepts Medicaid in CO and is awaiting contracts with other insurance providers. Please check back periodically for updates. In the meantime, if you are submitting for out-of-network coverage, we are happy to provide you a superbill.

Pay Ahead Discounts
For OOP payments, you will be given a 10% discount on services if you pay ahead of your scheduled appointment. This discount is NOT available when using insurance to pay for services.
Green Bottle Discounts
For OOP payers ONLY I also offer a sliding scale using the Green Bottle Discount method. The method asks you to consider where you fall in terms of resource availability and to choose your own fee tier. Discounts are then applied based on your self-identified financial experience. Read more at: GreenBottleDiscount
Full Bottle (Highest) Tier: For individuals who have secure financial stability, own property or rent a high-end property, have savings and can afford to pay for luxuries. This tier indicates being able to pay 100% for services.
Half-Bottle (Mid) Tier: For individuals who have moderate stability but experience notable constraints. You may have the funds for the service but it would be strain on your existing budget to pay the full standard rate. This tier is eligible for a 30% discount on services.
Nearly Empty-Bottle (Lowest) Tier: For individuals facing significant financial hardship, struggling to meet basic needs, and who cannot afford the full cost of services without putting great strain on one's currently available resources. This tier is eligible for 60% discount on services.
Cross-Subsidies
In addition to our green bottle discounts, JMBC also utilizes cross-subsidization to provide lower- and no-cost services to individuals who are unable to afford care at the listed rates. If you are able and willing, please consider paying at the highest tier so support those in need. Please stay tuned in for opportunities to make a tax-deductible donation to grow and support these services across Colorado and Washington State.
Cancellations, No-Shows, Late-Shows
Please cancel no later than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, or do not show up to your visit, you may be subject to a $50 no-show fee. If you are going to be late, please know your visit time may be reduced significantly but you will still be charged for the visit. In the case you are so late I am unable to see you that day, you may be subject to the $50 late fee. Thank you so much for understanding.
